WaterwaysThe existence of a Freycinet gauge (350-tonne) waterway network completes the range of transport networks. Today, as waterways are enjoying a resurgence in popularity (thanks to their lower transport costs and lower energy consumption), the presence of this navigable network is a precious resource for the département and helps to restore the balance between modes of transport.
