A cradle of French history

For visitors in search of authenticity and relaxation, the Aisne is a destination that improves with familiarity.

A cradle of French history, ranked 4th in France for its 571 listed historic monuments.

A land of literary inspiration (La Fontaine, Racine and Dumas, to name but a few), the Aisne has also been exalted by the likes of Matisse, Rubens and Quentin de la Tourfrançais

A centre of green tourism par excellence, the Aisne has been chosen by the Pierre & Vacances holiday group as the site of the third French Center Parcs holiday centre in 2007.
